We had the crab cakes, grouper and snapper specials....all were fabulous! Our server was great too! He was friendly, attentive and made conversation other than taking our order. Wait time to be seated and food service was not long at all. Our kids even commented on how quickly our food came out, which was great cuz we were hungry! Would definitely go back and recommend to friends visiting the area.
We’ve wanted to check this place for over a year now. We finally made it and we lucked out...they were having their 1st crawfish boil of the year. It was so good and priced well. Nice selection of beer and wine. Looking forward to going back and trying items on the menu. Everything that I saw looked good. Small but nice place and service was excellent!
We like to try local places, and Grayton sources a lot of their fish domestically. No foreign fish farms here. My son had grilled Amberjack, which was fantastic. I had a breaded and baked dish. Phenomenal. Highly recommend.
The gumbo is spot on and the onion rings are the best I have ever had!
Great food, great service, family owed and operated, and priced well.I had the BBQ Shrimp to start. Excellent flavor and size, only downfall was no bread to soak up the remaining juices. Next I had the grilled fish with sweet potato fries. Another excellent choice, flavor was mild, grilled to perfection and good portion size.I was presented with a sample oyster when asked if I like oysters. Best I’ve had in recent memory. Ended up ordering a half dozen for desert. This is a definite return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a casual meal with a laid back atmosphere and food that could compare with the best the area has to offer with a better price tag.
One of the few places in town where our family of 5 was able to be seated quickly, choose from an actual menu, eat a delicious meal, and pay a reasonable price. The restaurant is very cute and its clean and homey. The staff were very attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, we all cleared our plates. It’s a very different restaurant than any of the others in the area but was much more our speed as we didn’t want to pay an arm and a leg for ‘fancy’, poor tasting food. We loved this place from the food (including dessert!) to the atmosphere. Would absolutely return!
We arrived at about 8:00 and they close at 9:00. They were super friendly and didn’t give us the side-eye for arriving so late. Got the fried shrimp and oysters and it was amazing! Had some gumbo that was out of this world. The bread pudding is to die for, I’m so sad we have to go back to Texas because I want to eat here everyday! The fried green tomatoes are unbelievable as well. Very friendly staff and were very patient with us. Amazing place to eat. Good luck and we will see you next year for sure!
My son took me here and after living here 45 yrs. it’s pretty hard to be impressed, but I was definitely surprised! A combination of New Orleans and southern soul food. Fried green tomatoes, super cheese grits, fried okra, sweet potato fires, but the best is the crab cakes, blackened anything! Owner, Kenny, and wait staff are friendliest ever and make you feel totally welcome. Looking forward to Sunday Brunch and lunch Po’Boys. It’s nestled just behind Another Broken Egg and Bad Ass Coffee. Thank you so much!
Awesome Sunday brunch. Has yet to disappoint. Brunch Burger, Crab Cake Benny and Shrimp & Crawfish Omelet were fantastic.
The best food on 30a. We have been visiting this area for over a decade and just now discovered Grayton Seafood Co. Five of us had the best meal here last night. It’s small so go early if you don’t want to wait. But, if you have to wait it is worth it. Don’t think twice about it, just go and enjoy!
Best meal I’ve EVER HAD on 30A! Prices were so reasonable, the atmosphere was amazing, this place will be on our “have to” list from now on!
Now on our favorites list. After seeing numerous photos on Instagram my wife and I decided to go check it out.. Charbroiled Oysters and Sautéed Crab Claws are the best I’ve ever had.. As someone that goes to Grayton Beach on a regular basis, I’m embarrassed that I’ve just now discovered Grayton Seafood Company but will now be a regular customer!
The best raw oysters and awesome fresh catch fish prepared just right, grilled, fried or blackened. Great burgers too! Happy hour oyster and draft deals! Must go, we are going back!
Great service! Great food! Chargrilled oysters fresh from Apalachicola, hand shucked in house by the owner were amazing! Shrimp and grits, seafood gumbo and Pecan Bread Pudding were all excellent!
Best oysters on 30A! I’ve tried them all and these are superior to all others.
Absolutely love this spot! The fried mullet was perfectly battered and super fresh. The fried shrimp were also delicious and my wife and I were both impressed with the generous portions and side options. We will definitely be returning.
Added to our yearly list - from service to literally every item we tried, this place was awesome. Cheaper than Seaside and better by far (both fried, blackened, and grilled items). Wife had an incredible special fish dish, and my combo of fried shrimp, blackened mahi, and fried catfish (had to try everything) was perfect. Fried okra and grilled asparagus were perfectly prepared. The crab claws were also spectacular. Needless to say, we’re mad we found this the next to last day! Now we can only go like 4 more times before next year. See you in 2017!
